1. Applicability
Applicable to all paid fertility services including IVF cycles, egg/sperm (Own/Self) freezing, and surgical procedures.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are available only in these situations:
- Clinic-cancelled procedure or service (e.g. due to clinic scheduling or regulatory injunction)
- Medical contraindication diagnosed before cycle starts (documented by clinic)
- Overpayment due to administrative error
3. Process & Timelines
- Patient must submit a refund request within 15 calendar days from date of cancellation.
- Clinic verifies and processes refund within 30 calendar days.
- Refund issued back to original payment method or via bank transfer.
4. Deductions
Non-refundable:
- Diagnostic or laboratory tests already performed
- Medications purchased
- Transaction costs, third‑party fees
Refund amount = total upfront fee – non-refundable costs (itemized in invoice).
5. Exclusions
No refunds if:
- Patient cancels voluntarily after cycle has started or medications begun
- Missed appointments or procedures due to patient fault
6. Dispute Resolution
Disputes on refund decisions should be escalated to the Clinic’s grievance officer. Further escalation is available via consumer forums or the Data Protection Board (if related to DPDP Act issues).
