Female Infertility Treatment
You’ve counted days, taken tests, and felt your heart sink one too many times. Before you assume the worst, talk to someone who can actually tell you what’s going on — and what you can do about it.
What Is Female Infertility?
Female infertility is generally defined as the inability to conceive after 12 months of regular, unprotected intercourse — or after 6 months if you are over the age of 35. It can also refer to the inability to carry a pregnancy to term (recurrent pregnancy loss).
It’s important to know that infertility is rarely about “one thing going wrong.” Conception depends on a coordinated sequence of events — ovulation, healthy egg quality, an open and functional fallopian tube, a receptive uterine lining, and a sperm that can meet and fertilise the egg. A disruption at any one of these steps can make conception difficult.
Conditions We Help With
- PMOS(PCOS) & Irregular Ovulation
- Endometriosis
- Blocked Fallopian Tubes
- Fibroids & Uterine Polyps
- Diminished Ovarian Reserve
- Recurrent Miscarriage
- Age-Related Fertility Decline
- Unexplained Infertility
When Should You Seek Help?
- You are under 35 and have been trying to conceive for over a year
- You are 35 or older and have been trying for over 6 months
- You have irregular or absent periods
- You have a history of pelvic infections, endometriosis, or pelvic surgery
- You have experienced one or more miscarriages
- You simply feel that something isn’t right — trust that instinct
Early evaluation doesn’t mean immediate intervention. It means understanding your body sooner, so that if treatment is needed, it can begin without unnecessary delay.

How Is Female Infertility Diagnosed?
A fertility work-up at CIFAR typically includes a combination of the following, tailored to your history:
- Hormonal blood tests – to assess ovulation, ovarian reserve (AMH), and thyroid function
- Transvaginal ultrasound – to examine the ovaries, uterus, and antral follicle count
- Hysterosalpingography (HSG) or sonohysterography – to check whether the fallopian tubes are open and the uterine cavity is normal
- Hysteroscopy or laparoscopy – where a closer, direct look inside the uterus or pelvis is needed
- Partner’s semen analysis – since infertility investigation always looks at both partners

Answers Before You Ask
Will I definitely need IVF?
Not necessarily. Many patients conceive with simpler treatments once the actual cause is identified.
Is testing painful or time-consuming?
Most evaluations are quick, low-discomfort, and completed within a single cycle.
What if my partner’s reports are normal?
Fertility involves both partners — normal male reports don’t rule out treatable female factors.
How much will this cost?
We discuss costs transparently at your first visit, with EMI options available. Visit here for more detail
I’m scared to even start. Is that normal?
Completely. Most patients feel this way — our team’s first job is to make you feel heard, not overwhelmed.
